Bodil specialises in environmental law and spatial planning law. Bodil advises and litigates for industry bodies, investors and public bodies. As a corporate law practitioner, she is also regularly involved in transactions, contract negotiations and due diligence. In addition, Bodil has extensive experience in the area of HSE (health, safety & environment), including in the context of regulation and enforcement.
In 2017, she graduated cum laude from the Grotius Academy specialisation course on Environment Law. Bodil publishes regularly, and her articles include two leading publications on the relativity-related requirement under Dutch administrative law in the Tijdschrift voor Bouwrecht journal. She is a member of the Dutch Environment Law Association and the Dutch Association for Real Estate Lawyers. Bodil is also a member of the Houthoff Incubator Programme, a programme offering promising start-ups reduced-rate legal advice.

Cloetta, a leading confectionery company listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm, acquires Lonka of The Netherlands. Cloetta has signed an agreement to acquire Locawo B.V. (Lonka) – a Dutch company producing and selling fudge, nougat and chocolate. Cloetta has agreed to acquire 100% of the shares of Locawo B.V. The purchase price amounts to SEK 295m in cash. Lonka’s sales amounted to about SEK 300m in 2014 with the Netherlands being the core market, accounting for about half of the sales. The acquisition will significantly strengthen Cloetta’s position in the Netherlands

Advised the sellers, including Lion Capital and Avedon Capital Partners, on the sale of Van Geloven, a Netherlands-based frozen food producer with leading positions in the Netherlands and Belgium, to TowerBrook Capital Partners and the management of Van Geloven.
Advised OCI N.V. (NYSE Euronext: OCI) on the acquisition of BioMCN, one of Europe’s largest methanol producer and pioneer in bio-methanol production based in the Netherlands, for € 15 million. BioMCN’s glycerin activities are not part of the transaction and will be continued under the name of Dutch Glycerin Refinery B.V.
