Nathalie specialises in commercial tenancy law. Her work focuses mainly on assisting with transactions and advising, negotiating and litigating (including in cassation proceedings) in complex tenancy cases. Her clients include real estate and retail companies, banks, estate agents, developers, investors and public authorities. In 2002 Nathalie passed the entrance examination for the Association of Tenancy Law Lawyers (Vereniging van Huurrecht Advocaten) summa cum laude, and she regularly lectures and publishes on her area of expertise.
Nathalie is editor of the commercial tenancy law journal Tijdschrift voor Huurrecht Bedrijfsruimte, editor and co-author of the Handboek Huurrecht Bedrijfsruimte (Commercial Tenancy Law Handbook) and co-author of the Huurrecht (Tenancy Law) section of the fast-track proceedings column of the legal journal Mr. She is chair of the Association of Tenancy Law Lawyers and a member of the Tenancy Law legislation committee.

  • Specialisation course of the Dutch Association of Landlord and Tenant Law Practitioners (summa cum laude).
  • Specialisation course on tenancy law for counsel in the real estate, renting and leasing sector.
  • Advising Hoorne Vastgoed BV and Hoorne Vastgoed Ontwikkeling BV, a seller and a developer, respectively, on the sale of two distribution centres in Alkmaar.
  • Advised Stellantis N.V. on the legal merger between Peugeot Nederland N.V., Citroën Nederland B.V. and Opel Nederland B.V.
  • Advised Landal GreenParks Holding B.V. on the acquisition of Vakantiemakelaar B.V., the largest specialist in the brokerage of recreational real estate.
  • Advised on the acquisition of the shares in the IEF portfolio by a consortium led by CBRE Global Investors (three institutional investors from the Netherlands, plus CBRE Dutch Retail Fund). IEF is a joint venture formed by Bouwfonds Investment Management and IEF Capital. The portfolio consists of 31 Dutch retail properties (mostly flagship stores), including the well-known Dutch retail chains HEMA and de Bijenkorf.
