Anna works a lawyer in the real estate transaction department. She specialises in real estate transactions (both share deals and asset deals) and works on (re)developments. She also advises on commercial tenancy law and other general contract law that is relevant for the real estate practice. She has a wide range of clients, including international (institutional) investors, developers, lessors and tenants. Anna is a member of the Dutch Association of Tenancy Law Lawyers (VHA) and regularly publishes in the journal Tijdschrift voor Huurrecht Bedrijfsruimte.

  • Assisted Credit Suisse with the approx. EUR 33m sale of a retail complex in the city centre of Rotterdam to Zinc. 

  • Advised AXA IM and its developer Provast on the acquisition and redevelopment of the ABN AMRO office building in Coolsingel in Rotterdam. 
  • Advised Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield on the EUR 155 Mn sale of the shopping centre Almere Stadshart to Dutch retail investor UMB Group and a consortium of Dutch private investors.
  • Advised CBRE IM on the approx. EUR 130m sale of the Heuvel Galerie Shopping Centre in Eindhoven to a consortium of 3W and AT Capital.
  • Assisted Credit Suisse Asset Management Global Real Estate in the acquisition of a newly developed distribution centre for Jumbo in Bleiswijk. The seller, Somerset, retains a 10% interest in the business.
  • Advised PFA Pension on the acquisition of the New Babylon commercial complex in The Hague from Icon Real Estate. The New Babylon has approx. 40,000 m2 of lettable floor area (LFA). Hannover Leasing represented PFA Pension in the transaction.
  • Advised Real I.S. on the acquisition and financing of five newly constructed distribution centres with a total area of 115,000 m² in Europoort Rotterdam from DHG for €142 million.
  • Advised DELA Vastgoed B.V. on the sale of eight shopping centres to Harbert Management Cooperation (acting on behalf of Harbert European Real Estate Fund V, LP) and Sectie5 Investments for more than EUR 180 million. The transaction concerned the shopping centres 't Loo in Heiloo, Kastelenplein in Eindhoven, Heksenwiel in Breda, Op de Kamp in Landgraaf, Groeneweg in Utrecht, Maaspoort in Den Bosch, Reigerhof in Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel and Hasselo in Hengelo.
  • Advised DELA Vastgoed B.V. on the sale of the shopping centres 'Kerkelanden' in Hilversum and 'Westerkoog' in Koog aan de Zaan to Syntrus Real Estate & Finance B.V., the latter acting on behalf of the funds Stichting Rabobank Pensioenfonds and Achmea Dutch Retail Property Fund. The transaction was valued at approximately EUR 65 million.
  • Assisted ShoppingParks N.V., Terzetmus B.V., Kempen & Co N.V. and KBC Securities N.V. with the successful accelerated bookbuild offering of 750,000 shares in the capital of Retail Estates N.V., a Belgian publicly listed real estate company. ShoppingParks N.V. and Terzetmus B.V. are two closed-end Dutch real estate funds managed by Freeland.

  • Houthoff advised Hannover Leasing on the acquisition of the property 'The Cloud' in Amsterdam by means of a share deal. The building was redeveloped recently and is leased to Uber, Amazon, Spaces and @Leisure.
  • Advised on the acquisition of the shares in the IEF portfolio by a consortium led by CBRE Global Investors (three institutional investors from the Netherlands, plus CBRE Dutch Retail Fund). IEF is a joint venture formed by Bouwfonds Investment Management and IEF Capital. The portfolio consists of 31 Dutch retail properties (mostly flagship stores), including the well-known Dutch retail chains HEMA and de Bijenkorf.
  • Advised DELA Vastgoed B.V. regarding the sale of the 'Solit Portfolio' to Lone Star. The Solit Portfolio consists of 73 stores, 4 shopping centres, approx 15,000 m2 of office space, 2 parking garages and 90 residential spaces. The transfer took place on 1 September 2017. The transaction vallue amounts to approx EUR 215 million.
  • Advised La Salle Investment Management regarding the acquisition of the Bright Offices in Amsterdam. The acquisition took place on behalf of the French pension fund ERAFP, being the first acquisition for ERAFP on the Dutch Real Estate Market.
