Directors and supervisory directors work together on the future of the company. Supervisory directors share the responsibility for long-term value creation, but they also have a supervisory duty and therefore have to keep their distance. Supervisory directors cannot make executive decisions, but they do have to intervene if the company is faced with huge dilemmas.
