ScreenPoint Medical raises $28M in series C funding

Netherlands-based ScreenPoint Medical, an AI technology company that develops advanced image recognition and machine learning software to improve early detection of breast cancer, raised USD 28 million in Series C funding.

The funding will be used to accelerate the commercial growth of the company's Transpara AI breast care software, which uses advanced machine learning technology and databases of screening mammograms to improve early diagnosis of breast cancer.

Insight Partners, led the round, with continued support from existing investors of ScreenPoint Medical, including the founders, Siemens Healthineers and Oost NL, and participation from the University Radiology Group (URG).

Houthoff advised and represented ScreenPoint Medical on its Series C funding. The team was led by Bram Caudri and included Jessica den Dekker, Josine van Slingerland, Lisa de Lege and Jasmijn Harms.
