Tech company WeTransfer announces IPO on Euronext Amsterdam

The Dutch tech company WeTransfer announced its intention to launch an IPO on Euronext Amsterdam. The IPO will consist of an offering of new shares amounting to EUR 160 million, as well as existing shares.

The offering is expected to take place in the next few weeks, depending on market conditions and other relevant considerations.

WeTransfer, founded in 2009, offers tools specifically designed to inspire creative professionals in their work. This enables them to design and share content, making cooperation, co-creation and client management possible during the creative process. WeTransfer has 87 million monthly users and is one of the biggest tech success stories in the Netherlands.

Houthoff assists WeTransfer as company counsel with the IPO. The team, headed by Jetty Tukker, included Emma Schutte, Valerie Denswil, Kyoko Tollenaar, Thomas de Rave, Claire Reynaers, Sylvia Dikmans, Willem Liedenbaum and Matthijs Malessy.
