Arjan adviseert, onderhandelt en procedeert voor grote (multi)nationale ondernemingen en key executives in Nederland over een breed scala aan (corporate) arbeidszaken. Arjan richt zich op arbeidsrechtelijke geschillenbeslechting, waaronder het ontslag van statutair bestuurders, arbeidsvoorwaarden, bestuurdersaansprakelijkheid, ontslag op staande voet,medezeggenschap, ontslagrecht, incentive regelingen, aandelen gerelateerde beloningen en complexe onderhandelingen over dergelijke onderwerpen. Arjan is tevens universitair docent aan de Universiteit Maastricht.
Arjan geeft regelmatig lezingen en seminars over diverse arbeidsrechtelijke onderwerpen (waaronder het ontslag van statutair bestuurders, ontslag op staande voet en medezeggenschap).
Arjan heeft in 2021 de postacademische opleiding arbeidsrecht (PALA) met succes afgerond en is lid van de Vereniging voor Arbeidsrechtadvocaten (VAAN), de Vereniging voor Arbeidsrecht (VvA), de Vereniging Corporate Litigation (VCL) en de Nederlandse Vereniging voor Procesrecht (NVvP). Arjan is sinds augustus 2015 werkzaam bij Houthoff en is toegelaten tot de Amsterdamse balie.
Arjan geeft regelmatig lezingen en seminars over diverse arbeidsrechtelijke onderwerpen (waaronder het ontslag van statutair bestuurders, ontslag op staande voet en medezeggenschap).

Mobiquity provides digital consulting services for the world’s leading brands, such as Amazon Web Services, Rabobank, Philips, Wawa, Backbase and Otsuka. Houthoff worked jointly with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP on this transaction.
