Thijs is gespecialiseerd in de aan- en verkoop van (commercieel) vastgoed (zowel single assets als portefeuilles) en in de advisering bij projectontwikkeling en goederenrechtelijke structurering van (commercieel) vastgoed. Hij heeft veel te maken met vastgoedfondsen, projectontwikkelaars en woningcorporaties. Thijs heeft onder meer geadviseerd bij de splitsing en levering van Holland Park Fase III in Diemen, de verkoop van het kantoorgebouw TomTom en de aankoop van woningcomplex 'Oranjekwartier' in Amsterdam.
