In memoriam – Rob Meijer

It is with immense sadness that we announce the unexpected and sudden passing of our highly respected colleague and dear friend Rob Meijer.
Rob was a prominent member of our litigation team and the Dutch Supreme Court bar. His contributions during his long and fruitful legal career were of immeasurable value. Rob was an exceptional lawyer and mentor to many, both at our firm and elsewhere. Rob possessed a charm, sense of humour and empathy that brought out the best in everyone around him.
As a lawyer, Rob operated at a level that few could aspire to. He worked with unparalleled passion and dedication. His sharp legal mind was a benefit to all those around him.
We will always be grateful to Rob for everything he contributed to our firm and to our people. We will miss his friendship, authenticity and his incredible sense of humour. Rob will remain a lasting inspiration to each of us.
Our thoughts are with Rob’s wife, his children, his grandchild, and all of his other loved ones.
