Janet is an experienced lawyer, specialising in procurement law and private construction law. She advises both tenderers and contracting entities on matters relating to the former area of expertise, and litigates for both parties. Janet also assists contracting entities in the pre-procurement stage and during ongoing procurement procedures. In addition, she represents clients in complex construction law disputes involving different types of contracts (including DB and DBFM).
Janet is a member of the Dutch Association for Procurement Law and the Dutch Construction Lawyers Association. She regularly publishes on matters relating to procurement law, speaks at conferences on these subjects, and gives lectures to lawyers and counsel at universities. Janet is also a regular annotator for the procurement case law journal Jurisprudentie Aanbestedingsrecht.
