Sebastian focuses on international transfer pricing services. He specializes in transfer pricing documentation, business restructurings, supply chain structuring, and Advance Pricing Agreements. He assists clients with economic and financial analyses of intragroup transactions, as well as designing, implementing, documenting and defending transfer pricing policies. Sebastian has experience with a range of different transactions across numerous industries, with a specific focus on intragroup financing transactions (intragroup loans, guarantees, cash pooling) for multinational enterprises around the world. Sebastian worked previously in the transfer pricing practice of an international law firm. He has (co)-authored several articles on international transfer pricing and taxation aspects.

Houthoff acted as Dutch counsel in connection with the preparation and implementation of the settlement plan relating to the Agrokor group. Agrokor entered into an insolvency process in 2017 under 'Lex Agrokor', a law passed in Croatia aimed at the restructuring of Agrokor in view of its systemic importance for the Croatian economy. The business has been transferred to the Fortenova Group.
Houthoff advised the sellers on the sale of Mendix to Siemens. Mendix was founded in Rotterdam (2005) by, amongst others, Derek Roos and Derckjan Kruit and offers a low-code software platform for the development and implementation of applications.
