Marthe is werkzaam binnen de praktijkgroep investment management. Marthe is counsel en gespecialiseerd in Investment Management. Zij richt zich met name op de oprichting en herstructurering van investment fondsen, zoals private equity fondsen, hedge fondsen, vastgoed fondsen en retail fondsen (UCITS en non-UCITS). Marthe adviseert ook asset management companies, pensioenfondsen en andere institutionele beleggers op het gebied zoals discretionair en fiduciair asset management en asset-pooling transacties.

Van 2013 tot en met 2015 heeft zij gewerkt vanuit kantoor Londen.

Marthe is toezichthouder op pensioenfondsen geweest bij de Nederlandsche Bank. Daarnaast was zij, voor haar terugkeer naar Houthoff, Senior Legal Counsel bij Robeco en Bestuurslid bij het Robeco Pensioenfonds.
