The pension world is constantly subject to change. The balance between young and old is shifting. This is why the pension system has to be organised differently. New entrants to the market together with consolidation are accelerating the developments within our pension system. What do these changes mean for your organisation and your people?

This year, Houthoff is organising two pension seminars for professionals working in the pension world. The first edition will be on Monday 4 June. Houthoff's specialists will address current legal risks, the expected changes and the issues the sector will have to deal with.

The afternoon will start with a plenary session focusing on the developments in the pension sector in the broadest sense. Themes that will be addressed include: a new pension system? The current state of affairs; concentration: merging sectoral pension funds; developments regarding the compulsory affiliation to a sectoral pension fund; the carve-out of pension rights; the impact of Europe on our pensions; and the supervision themes of the Dutch Central Bank and the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets for 2018.
