Cassation Seminar | The Dutch Supreme Court and a fair share in Tax

The theme for this year’s cassation seminar was the Dutch Supreme Court and a fair share in tax. Alexander van der Voort Maarschalk discussed the developments surrounding the tax climate for businesses in the Netherlands and their potential influence on the Dutch Supreme Court’s case law. Sjoerd Douma discussed how Article 10a of the Dutch Corporate Income Tax Act has been applied and amended, and what role the Supreme Court has played and will continue to play in the years ahead. The programme concluded with Jeroen van Mourik’s discussion of the Dutch Bill on Conditional Dividend Withholding Tax and its application by the Supreme Court.
