Seminar: Results Houthoff Class Action Survey 2024

The topic of class actions is high on the agenda of many national and international legislative bodies and corporations. Developments in this area happen quickly, particularly in the EU due to the Representative Action Directive. Policymakers and businesses must consider how these developments will affect the European legal landscape and what the legal risks might be.

Five years after our first Class Action Survey, we have once again partnered with 11 other law firms to investigate the key trends in class actions in 12 leading jurisdictions. This research involved interviewing experts and practitioners in these jurisdictions and soliciting their views on current and future developments. The jurisdictions include the Netherlands, the UK, Portugal, Poland, Spain, Ireland, France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, the United States and Israel. The results of this research will provide an insight into what we can expect in the future.
