Response on behalf of Houthoff

On 31 May 2018, the Dutch government offered the opportunity to respond to a draft bill on the law of evidence. The bill proposes adjustments to improve the collection of information and evidence prior to and during proceedings. It aims to harmonise the criteria for different means of provisional evidence-taking. It also offers the court more opportunities to play an active role in establishing the truth.
