Romy is werkzaam als advocaat op de Financial Regulatory praktijkgroep. Zij adviseert (inter)nationale ondernemingen en financiële instellingen, zoals banken, verzekeraars, bemiddelaars en beleggingsondernemingen over een breed scala aan financiële toezichtvraagstukken. Dit omvat onder meer kwesties op het gebied van toegang tot de financiële markt, gedrag op de financiële markt en integriteit. Romy werkte voorheen op de praktijkgroep Corporate / M&A en is ook betrokken bij advisering over fusies en overnames in de financiële sector.
Romy is als fellow aangesloten bij het International Centre for Financial law and Governance (ICFG) en is tevens lid van Houthoffs Duurzaamheidsteam.
