a.s.r. acquires insurer Veherex. Veherex focuses on insuring disability risks for companies and its employees, and its clients are mainly in the railway and public transport sectors. The portfolio includes 35,000 policyholders. With this acquisition, a.s.r. broadens and strengthens its market position in the field of disability insurances. The acquisition also reinforces a.s.r.'s leading position in providing comprehensive sustainable employability solutions for employers. The acquisition is subject to the approval of De Nederlandsche Bank.
