Houthoff’s professional indemnity insurance consists of several policies insuring the liability of Houthoff up to a maximum of €300 million per claim. The policy program is consistent with local market standards and in line with the programs held by other large independent Dutch law firms, similar to Houthoff. With respect to claims governed by the laws of the USA or Canada, or brought before US or Canadian courts, an aggregate annual limit of €600 million applies. For all other claims no aggregate annual limit applies.
