Stijn is a lawyer in the Banking & Finance practice group. He advises on a wide range of domestic and cross-border financing transactions.

Stijn previously worked as a lawyer in the Corporate/M&A practice group. He was involved in national and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, including company acquisitions, joint ventures and other types of partnerships. He represented both private equity and strategic parties.

  • Advised IK Partners and QConcepts on the acquisition of VanLoman. With this strategic collaboration, QConcepts and VanLoman will continue to operate independently while combining their strengths within the same quality platform. VanLoman is active in the market for high-quality advice in the field of Dutch taxes.
  • Advising Advent, a leading global private equity investor, on its agreement to invest in Reckitt’s Essential Home portfolio. Advent will acquire a 70% stake to support the company’s accelerated growth and innovation as a standalone business in the years ahead. The transaction values Essential Home at an enterprise value of up to US$4.8 billion, including up to US$1.3 billion in contingent and deferred consideration.
  • Advised Castik Capital S.à r.l. regarding the acquisition of a majority stake in WATR Group, a market leader in groundwater management and (ground-)water purification from funds advised by Borromin Capital.
