Wijnand works in the Corporate/M&A practice group. He engages in national and international mergers and acquisitions, including company acquisitions, joint ventures and other collaborations, and acts for both private equity and strategic parties. Wijnand previously worked in the Finance & Investment Management group.

  • Advised Authentic Brands Group LLC, together with Latham & Watkins, with the acquisition of a controlling ownership interest in substantially all of the intellectual property of Guess?,Inc..
  • Advised Lumileds, a global leader in innovative lighting solutions, in its comprehensive financial restructuring. Lumileds emerged from a Chapter 11, resulting in a leadership transition and a funded debt reduction of approximately USD 1.4 billion.
  • Advised an ad hoc group of secured lenders to Tupperware Brands Corporation who successfully completed the acquisition of certain key assets of the Tupperware Group, including global rights to the Tupperware brand name and related intellectual property as well as operations in core geographic markets.
