David van der Linden
David is a lawyer in the Corporate/M&A practice group. He specialises in corporate law and is involved in national and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. He also advises listed and non-listed companies on corporate governance and other corporate law and financial supervision matters. Because of his financial and economic background, David can provide an interdisciplinary approach to law and financial economics when giving advice to clients.

Houthoff advised Redefine Properties Limited (listed on Johannesburg Stock Exchange) and European Logistics Investment B.V. (ELI) on the sale of 46.5% of the shares in ELI to Madison International Realty and 2% of the shares in ELI to Griffin Real Estate. Houthoff worked in close collaboration with Rymarz Zdort (formerly Weil, Gotshal & Manges) on this matter.
Houthoff advised Arcis on the acquisition and transfer of all shares in Axender BV and the participation of Axender Holding in Arcis. As a result, Arcis is now a consortium consisting of four parties: Beheermaatschappij Em. De Jong BV, Print Nerds BV, Shatho Beheer BV and Axender Holding BV. Axender will continue under Spotta's name and deliver flyers to about 5.7 million households on a weekly basis.
