Tijs specialises in litigating on commercial disputes with a focus on proceedings before the Dutch Supreme Court. He is an author for the Groene Serie Huurrecht, a series of comments on Dutch tenancy law.

  • Successfully representing Fortenova Group in several Supreme Court disputes initiated by sanctioned certificate holder Russian Sberbank subsidiary SBK, on the validity of a restructuring forcing SBK out; on alleged misconduct surrounding this restructuring; and – also before the ECJ – on the meeting and voting rights of sanctioned certificate holders.
