Tijs is a member of the Supreme Court Litigation Team. As a Supreme Court lawyer, he represents clients in cassation and preliminary ruling proceedings. Tijs handles cases across the entire civil law spectrum, with a particular focus on real estate, consumer law and energy law. He is a contributing author for the Groene Serie Huurrecht.

  • Successfully representing Fortenova Group in several Supreme Court disputes initiated by sanctioned certificate holder Russian Sberbank subsidiary SBK, on the validity of a restructuring forcing SBK out; on alleged misconduct surrounding this restructuring; and – also before the ECJ – on the meeting and voting rights of sanctioned certificate holders.
