Courage at Work
For this edition, Marry de Gaay Fortman, Marloes Brans and Elisabeth Houtman conducted the Courage at Work survey. We explored how women experience courage in the workplace. What determines whether someone takes a courageous step, and which factors influence that decision? Courageous behaviour can take many forms, such as speaking up, addressing a difficult issue, setting boundaries or making a challenging decision. Marry subsequently spoke with professionals, a philosopher, a coach and emerging talent. The insights from the survey and these conversations have been brought together in a new bilingual management book, published by Houthoff.
During the event, the first copy of the book will be presented, and its key insights will take centre stage. Guided by Marry, we will discuss these themes with this distinguished panel of participants from previous editions of the Corporate Ladies Event.
Hajar Yagkoubi will put the theme into perspective through the lens of a next generation female leader and modern leadership.
