Courage at Work
For this edition, Marry de Gaay Fortman, Marloes Brans and Elisabeth Houtman developed the Courage at Work survey. The study explores how women experience courage in the workplace and which factors influence whether or not they take bold steps.
Courage can take many forms, such as speaking up, addressing complex issues, setting boundaries or making difficult decisions. The findings of the survey are complemented by a series of conversations led by Marry de Gaay Fortman with professionals, a philosopher, a coach and emerging talent. These insights have been brought together in a new bilingual management book, published by Houthoff.
During the event, the book will take centre stage. The first copy will be presented, and the key insights will be discussed in a panel featuring participants from previous editions of the Corporate Ladies Event.| In addition, Hajar Yagkoubi will provide perspective on the theme from the viewpoint of next-generation leadership and modern female executive roles.
Next generation and sponsorship
The event continues to focus on strengthening connections between generations. As in previous years, the participation of a next generation female professional remains central. New this year is a focus on the importance of sponsorship: senior professionals who actively invest in the development and growth of others.
