Competition law is evolving rapidly, increasingly intersecting with industrial policy, technological developments and geopolitical considerations. During the Houthoff Competition Event on Thursday, 26 November 2026, four expert panels will examine the most significant developments of the past year and their practical implications for businesses. The event will provide an opportunity to take stock of these developments and consider how the competition law landscape may evolve in the year ahead.

The programme will also feature a keynote by Marc van der Woude. Having stepped down as President of the General Court this summer, he will reflect on his 16 years on the bench and share his perspective on the evolution of European competition law.
