Houthoff the head sponsor of Dutch National Opera & Ballet
The law firm Houthoff will become the head sponsor of Dutch National Opera & Ballet on 1 January 2018. Houthoff is the first head sponsor of the trinity: the theatre Dutch National Opera & Ballet theatre and the companies of the Dutch National Opera and the Dutch National Ballet. The law firm and the cultural organisation have undertaken a commitment towards each other for a minimum period of three years. The sponsorship agreement will be signed today by Els van der Plas, the general director at Dutch National Opera & Ballet and Edward de Bock, the managing partner at Houthoff.

The collaboration is in line with the launch of Houthoff's new brand identity. On 30 October 2017, Houthoff launched a sharpened strategy for going forward with its brand promise ‘Going Beyond'. With this strategy, Houthoff promises to go that extra mile for its clients to help them take the next step at critical times. This is in line with the professional work ethics of the singers, conductors, dancers, choreographers, directors, costume designers, make-up artists and stage designers of Dutch National Opera & Ballet and the ambition to continuously develop the artistic product, in addition to structurally providing top-quality productions.
