A significant part of New York Pizza, one of the largest pizza chains in the Netherlands, will be sold to Orkla.

Orkla owns dozens of brands related to food products, snacks and personal care. The company will acquire 75% of the shares in the pizza chain, valued at EUR 145 million. The current shareholders will keep 25 percent. New York Pizza has 232 franchisee operated sales outlets with 229 of them in the Netherlands.
