Sylvia Dikmans

Sylvia specialises in corporation tax and dividend tax and mainly advises on private equity, fund structuring and M&A transactions. She is regularly involved in international structurings and real estate transactions. She is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and the International Bar Association (IBA) and serves as secretary on the board of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (NOB). Sylvia is a member of Houthoff’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Committee and regularly speaks on diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace at various events. She also wrote commentary on various tax treaties signed by the Netherlands for the NDFR Dutch tax law resource.

  • Advised the listed British flooring manufacturer Victoria plc with the succesfull restructuring of its debt.
  • Represented IMI Fabi S.p.A., a global talc manufacturer, in the completion of the purchase of the Elementis talc business from Elementis plc, a global specialty chemicals company.
  • Advises Lumileds International on a definitive agreement under which San’an Optoelectronics and Inari Amertron Berhad will acquire Lumileds Holding B.V. and its European and Asian subsidiaries.
