Bob is a lawyer in the Litigation & Arbitration practice groups. Before joining the Litigation & Arbitration practice groups in 2021, He worked in the Banking & Finance practice group, working on cross-border banking, finance and structured finance transactions.

Bob has advised clients in various national and international proceedings. His focus lies on complex cross-border disputes and international mass claims, and he represents clients in domestic litigations with a cross-border angle. Furthermore, he regularly advises Houthoff’s Restructuring & Insolvency, Corporate/M&A and Finance teams in private international law related contracting matters and also publishes on this topic.

  • Advised the listed British flooring manufacturer Victoria plc with the successful restructuring of its debt and issue of EUR 612 million bonds and BP 130 million credit facilities.
  • Represents Fortenova Group, the predecessor of Agrokor, the largest food producer and retailer in South-Eastern Europe with an annual turnover of EUR 6 billion in the implementation of a comprehensive restructuring resulting from the presence of sanctioned debt and equity holders in its capital structure and in its EUR 550 million refinancing.
