David specialises in European and competition law and is a member of the EU & Competition practice group. He advises clients on a wide range of issues, including cartel investigations, abuse of dominant position, merger notifications to the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets and the European Commission, state aid, screening of foreign investments and issues relating to EU regulations.

- Advises the Dutch State on the acquisition of shares in the Borssele nuclear power station. The State is acquiring 70% of the shares from the Elektriciteits- en Produktiemaatschappij Zuid-Nederland (EPZ), the operator of the nuclear power station. The power station generates 485 megawatts of CO₂-free electricity. This is almost equal to the electricity consumption of all the inhabitants of the provinces Zeeland and Noord-Brabant.
