Davine van der Heijden

Davine is a lawyer in the Restructuring & Insolvency practice group, where she regularly advises bankruptcy trustees, directors, debtors and creditors in various insolvency situations. Her experience includes proceedings under the Court Approval of a Private Composition (Prevention of Insolvency) Act (Wet homologatie onderhands akkoord, or WHOA) in multiple capacities. Additionally, Davine has previously worked in the Corporate Litigation practice group, focusing on post-acquisition disputes, shareholder conflicts and directors’ liability cases, which add value to her insolvency practice.

In 2023/2024, she worked at Houthoff’s London office. Davine is a member of the Dutch Association for Young Insolvency Lawyers (JIRA).

  • Advised Unigel Participações S.A. and certain subsidiaries on the successful completion of a cross-border restructuring involving over USD 800 million in debt. This restructuring led to new investments, bonds, convertible bonds, and Dutch depositary receipts for shares in Unigel's Dutch parent company.
  • Advised the ad hoc group of creditors to the Consolis group, a leading European leader in precast concrete solutions for the construction and utilities sectorsin the successful implementation of its comprehensive recapitalization.
