Etzel van Dooren

Etzel specialises in company law, with a specific focus on corporate governance and group structures. Additionally, he has a keen interest in partnership law. Etzel obtained a PhD from Utrecht University in early 2021 with his thesis on the liability of a parent company in connection with an annual accounts exemption for its subsidiary (‘De aansprakelijkheid op grond van een 403-verklaring’). He regularly publishes in various academic journals and co-authors book publications. Etzel is an editor with the company law journal Maandblad voor Ondernemingsrecht. He is also a Fellow and guest lecturer at Utrecht University’s Molengraaff Institute for Private Law (Molengraaff Instituut voor Privaatrecht).
