Grafton works as a lawyer in the Corporate M&A practice group. He engages in national and international mergers and acquisitions, including company acquisitions, joint ventures and other collaborations, and acts for both private equity and strategic parties. Grafton is a member of Houthoff’s Diversity & Inclusiveness Committee. He spent part of 2022 and 2024 working from Houthoff’s London office and in 2024 he went on a secondment to Ashurst LLP in London.

  • Advised IK Partners on the acquisition of an economical majority stake in QConcepts Beheer B.V., a fast growing Dutch audit-focused specialist.
  • Advised Future Business Partnership, an impact investor focusing on sustainably-minded brands, on its investment in Naïf Care.
  • Advised Bridgepoint Advisers II Limited as a local counsel on its acquisition of the SK AeroSafety group, specialising in maintenance, repair, overhaul and the design and manufacture of aerospace systems and components.
