Grafton works as a lawyer in the Corporate M&A practice group. He engages in national and international mergers and acquisitions, including company acquisitions, joint ventures and other collaborations, and acts for both private equity and strategic parties. Grafton is a member of Houthoff’s Diversity & Inclusiveness Committee. He spent part of 2022 and 2024 working from Houthoff’s London office and in 2024 he went on a secondment to Ashurst LLP in London.

- Advised and represented Agilitas Private Equity Services Limited on the acquisition of TenCate Advanced Armour Holding B.V., the global leading manufacturer of lightweight survivability solutions.
- Advising a.s.r. on the division of Amvest’s real estate activities. Pensioenfonds Zorg en Welzijn (PFZW) will acquire a.s.r.'s shares in the management and development organisation as of 1 January 2026 and will become the sole shareholder of Amvest Vastgoed B.V. Amvest's current development portfolio will be divided between PFZW and a.s.r.
