Hugo specialises in corporate law and deals with national and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. He represents both private equity and strategic parties (listed and non-listed). Hugo previously worked in the Real Estate practice group, where he primarily focused on tenancy law. He also advised and litigated on issues of governance and regulation.

- Advised Xiuco Energy Holding B.V., the founder of Titan Energy Holding B.V., on the sale, contribution and rollover to Molgas Energy Group, backed by InfraVia Capital Partners, of its shareholding in Titan Energy Holding B.V., a leading independent supplier of liquefied biomethane (LBM/bio-LNG) and LNG.
- Advised Söderberg & Partners (again and including) on the acquisition of SAA Holding B.V. (“SAA”), one of the largest independent insurance brokers in the Netherlands. With this acquisition, SAA chooses for the Söderberg & Partners model to ensure sustainable growth.
- Advised Castik Capital S.a.r.l. on the acquisition of paraDIGMA Group.
