Since 2018, Jan Cees has consistently received a Band 1 ranking and a Star Individual title from Chambers Europe for his work in real estate. - Advised Greystar on the acquisition from 3w real estate and AT Capital, of 407 to be developed residential units in the Orchard I project in Rijswijk.
- Advised on the acquisition of the shares in the IEF portfolio by a consortium led by CBRE Investment Management (three institutional investors from the Netherlands, plus CBRE Dutch Retail Fund). IEF is a joint venture formed by Bouwfonds Investment Management and IEF Capital. The portfolio consists of 31 Dutch retail properties (mostly flagship stores), including the well-known Dutch retail chains HEMA and de Bijenkorf.
- Advised CBRE Investment Management, on behalf of one of its funds, on the acquisition of two holiday parcs from Dormio, by way of an asset deal, and acted as notary regarding the preceding share transfer deal, involving 30 vacation parks, from Roompot (KKR) to Dormio.
