Rolef has been working at Houthoff since 2001, from the outset as a lawyer and later also as a bankruptcy trustee. He has been involved in large bankruptcies such as Jomed, Van der Hoop Bankiers, DSB Bank and the Dutch entities in the bankruptcies of Swiss Air and Lehman Brothers. In addition, Rolef advises on the opportunities and responsibilities of companies, directors, shareholders and financiers in the twilight zone, both in situations where bankruptcy seems imminent and in retrospect when bankruptcy is pursued.
