Jet leads Houthoff's Employment & Pensions practice.

She specialises in employment law. In addition to individual employees (mainly directors), she advises Dutch and international companies on all aspects of employment law. Jet has extensive experience in the laws governing both individual and collective termination, co-determination and all forms of reorganisation. She also advises clients on these subjects as part of or following an M&A or refinancing process, whereby transfer of undertaking (TUPE) could also play a role. Jet has specific expertise in the field of the Standards for Remuneration Act (WNT) and the Remuneration Policy (Financial Enterprises) Act (Wbfo). She litigates but also assists clients during mediations.

Jet is a member of the Dutch Employment Lawyers Association (VAAN) and a board member of the Amsterdam Employment Lawyers Association (VAAA). She is also a board member of the Florijn Foundation, which among other things organises lectures on the subject of (restrictions on) remuneration. She is also part of a group of employment lawyers that make the podcast 9 to 5. Finally, she regularly gives courses and publishes on the position of directors, corporate employment law, reorganisations and the Standards for Remuneration Act. Legal 500 has recognised Jet as Next Generation Partner in the field of Employment law.
