With 580 employees, Muon Group’s operating companies includes LouwersHanique (NL), Veco (NL), Millux (NL), Tecan (UK) and Atul (IN). Muon Group has approximately 1,500 customers in sectors such as aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, defence, medical and robotics. It is expecting a turnover of EUR 140 million in 2022. In 2021, 32% of sales came from the semiconductor sector and 17% from the medical technology market. IDEX Corporation has around 8,000 employees worldwide and an annual turnover of USD 2.8 billion.
Houthoff, together with Sidley Austin LLP, advised IDEX Corporation on the proposed acquisition of Muon Group.
