4 June 2026

Fashion company Omoda Brands, a family-run business and one of the Netherlands’ largest online retailers, has acquired Wehkamp, one of the country’s best-known online retail platforms. The acquisition brings Wehkamp back into Dutch ownership after 11 years.

With this transaction, Omoda is taking an important strategic step in the further development of its omnichannel retail platform. With Wehkamp, Omoda Brands is adding two renowned brands to its group; in addition to Wehkamp, Kleertjes.com also forms part of the Wehkamp Retail Group. By joining forces with Wehkamp, a leading Dutch e-commerce group is created with a strong position in fashion, lifestyle and home.

The completion of the transaction is subject to the usual conditions and approvals.
