Blauwhoed is a Dutch real estate developer active in residential development, area development and transformation. BPD and Blauwhoed have complementary profiles. BPD has a strong position in long-term, large-scale area developments, while Blauwhoed brings an entrepreneurial development approach, conceptual strength and strong acquisition capabilities. Blauwhoed’s project portfolio is concentrated primarily in North Holland, South Holland and Utrecht.
The two organisations already collaborate on several area developments, including Kreekpark in Wilnis, Lisserbroek and Weespersluis in Weesp. The combination also creates opportunities to share knowledge and experience in areas including innovative housing concepts, flexible housing solutions, biobased development, grid-conscious construction, climate adaptation and community participation.
The transaction is subject to approval by the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) and other customary conditions.
