Five counsel appointments reflect Houthoff’s continued growth

As of 1 July, Houthoff has appointed Grafton Cederburg, Ewoud van der Leek, Bas van der Mei, Rosalie van der Sluis and Olav de Wit as counsel. With their extensive experience and in depth expertise, they further strengthen their practice groups and contribute to the continued growth and development of the firm.

About Grafton Cederburg

Grafton is a lawyer in Houthoff’s Corporate M&A practice. He is involved in domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, including corporate acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic alliances, and advises both private equity and strategic parties. About Ewoud van der Leek

Ewoud is a lawyer within the Investment Management team. He advises (institutional) investors, asset and fund managers, and other financial market participants on the establishment, structuring and marketing of investment schemes, including UCITS, AIFs, retail funds, property funds, private equity funds, private debt funds and hedge funds. He also advises on regulatory issues relating to, amongst other things, AIFMD II, MiFID II, DORA, SFDR, the Taxonomy Regulation and the Wwft/Sanctions Act. Read more.

About Bas van der Mei

Bas specialises as a lawyer in complex and strategic private M&A transactions, collaborations (including joint ventures) and projects, with a particular focus on the energy, infrastructure and industrial sectors. He advises both strategic parties and private equity funds and regularly assists state owned enterprises in relation to transactions and project development. About Rosalie van der Sluis

Rosalie is a civil law notary candidate in Houthoff’s Real Estate & Transactions team. She specialises in the legal guidance of complex inner city redevelopment projects, transformation projects and real estate developments. Rosalie advises both developers and investors on split purchase and construction projects, turnkey projects, real estate transactions and real estate financing. About Olav de Wit

Olav is a lawyer in Houthoff’s Construction & Development practice. He specialises in construction law and public procurement law. He advises major private and public sector clients in the construction, infrastructure and energy sectors, as well as on procurement matters across various other industries. Olav also regularly represents clients in litigation and in domestic and international arbitration proceedings.
