Vestia, once the largest social housing corporation in the Netherlands, split into three independent corporations on 1 January: Hef Wonen in Rotterdam, Hof Wonen in The Hague and Stedelink in Delft-Zoetermeer. The transaction included the division of Vestia’s real estate portfolio, comprising approximately 65,000 rental units with a value of EUR 11.5 billion.
Houthoff advised Vestia on corporate and real estate law and worked together with AKD, which advised on regulatory matters.
