Financial institutions must adapt their processes and financing structures to changing capital requirements and stricter European rules of conduct. These developments have a direct impact on transactions and require continuous attention to compliance in a market subject to regulatory oversight.
Private Equity
Houthoff advises private equity clients on transactions, acquisitions, financing and structuring. Our team offers strategic and legal support from entry to exit.
Restructuring & Insolvency
Periods of financial distress demand fast, informed decisions. Whether facing operational setbacks, liquidity issues or broader market pressures, companies need clear legal guidance to protect value and manage risk.
Financial Services
The financial sector is subject to increasing regulation, both within and outside Europe. It has become more complex and challenging for financial institutions to continuously anticipate and comply with constantly changing regulations.
Real Estate
The real estate market is constantly evolving, driven by urban growth, sustainability goals, complex financing, and shifting regulations. For companies, investors, and developers, these challenges are rarely simple - making knowledgeable legal advisors essential throughout the real estate lifecycle.
Automotive
The automotive sector is undergoing major shifts. Today’s fast-changing world means that dealer and repair networks are being restructured, leading to the gradual disappearance of traditional distribution methods and the constant amendment of EU regulations.
