In the coming years, a vibrant new urban district will be created here with plenty of space for living, working and leisure. Approximately 1,600 new apartments will be built, two-thirds of which will be in the affordable segment. The acquisition of the Draka site is one of the largest development acquisitions in the Netherlands in recent years.

Houthoff advised AM and Amvest on the purchase and transfer of the former Draka site on the IJ in Amsterdam-Noord.
