Lucas is gespecialiseerd in (notarieel) vastgoedrecht. Hij staat onder meer institutionele beleggers, private equity investeerders, pensioenfondsen en projectontwikkelaars bij op het gebied van commerciële vastgoedtransacties, projectontwikkeling, vastgoedfinanciering en vastgoedgerelateerde contracten. Lucas is lid van de Koninklijke Notariële Beroepsorganisatie (KNB), de Master of Real Estate (MRE) Alumnivereniging en van de Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), het internationale netwerk voor vastgoedprofessionals. Daarnaast is hij lid van het Executive Committee van Houthoff.

- Advised CBRE Global Investors / Dutch Residential Fund on the sale of a housing portfolio of 11 complexes to the Canadian CAPREIT for approximately EUR 83 million.
- Advised a.s.r. real estate on the incorporation and structuring of ASR Dutch Farmland Fund and the contribution and transfer of thousands of farmland parcels to the new fund.
