André advises on cross-border banking, finance and structured finance transactions including acquisition finance, asset based finance, syndicated and bilateral lending and debt capital markets transactions, including complex financial and corporate restructurings. He has specific knowledge of and experience in the oil and gas sector and accounting law (jaarrekeningenrecht).

In addition, André heads the Latin America desk.

  • Advised Bent Pixels, together with Faegre Drinker, on the acquisition of Sunny State Agency, a Netherlands based influencer and creator marketing agency. With this transaction, Bent Pixels strengthens its presence in Europe and further expands its capabilities in brand partnerships and creator led marketing.
  • Advising a.s.r. on the division of Amvest’s real estate activities. Pensioenfonds Zorg en Welzijn (PFZW) will acquire a.s.r.'s shares in the management and development organisation as of 1 January 2026 and will become the sole shareholder of Amvest Vastgoed B.V. Amvest's current development portfolio will be divided between PFZW and a.s.r.
  • Represented Petrobras successfully in a significant multi-billion euro litigation that spanned nearly eight years. Following a series of interim judgments, the Rotterdam District Court delivered its final judgment on 30 October 2024. The claimant foundation, acting on behalf of a collective of global investors, sought declaratory relief as a preliminary step towards obtaining compensation for losses allegedly suffered due to share price declines following large-scale fraud in Brazil between 2004 and 2014, of which Petrobras was a victim. All shareholder claims brought by the foundation were dismissed.
