Arbeidsrecht en pensioenrecht is een dynamisch en snel veranderend rechtsgebied met voortdurende wijzigingen als gevolg van jurisprudentie en wet- en regelgeving. Maatschappelijke en economische ontwikkelingen en de opkomst van nieuwe technologieën hebben voortdurend impact op arbeidsrechtelijke vraagstukken binnen een onderneming.  

Sinds 1 juli 2023 is de Wet toekomst pensioenen in werking getreden. De grootste pensioenwijziging van de afgelopen decennia. Pensioenuitvoerders en werkgevers moeten vóór 1 januari 2028 de overstap maken naar het nieuwe pensioenstelsel. 

Wij helpen ondernemingen om juridische risico’s te minimaliseren, beleid te optimaliseren en geschillen effectief op te lossen.

Onze expertise op gebied van arbeidsrecht

De arbeidsrecht- en pensioenpraktijk staat cliënten bij in het volledige spectrum van arbeidsrechtvraagstukken waarmee ondernemingen worden geconfronteerd, zoals reorganisaties, beloningskwesties, strategische HR-aangelegenheden en collectieve arbeidsovereenkomsten en kwesties. Ons team bestaat uit ervaren procesadvocaten die cliënten bijstaan in arbeidsgeschillen, waarbij er tevens ruime ervaring bestaat met cassatiezaken. Wij houden ons ook bezig met alle arbeidsgerelateerde aspecten van transacties, onder meer op het gebied van medezeggenschap, het opstellen van transactiedocumenten en gerelateerde reorganisaties.

Onze expertise op gebied van pensioenen

Wij staan werkgevers, pensioenfondsen, werkgevers, verzekeraars en banken bij in alle juridische facetten van de pensioensector. Wij behandelen in het bijzonder diverse pensioengerelateerde geschillen en staan onze cliënten bij in juridische procedures, onder andere voor de rechtbank en in arbitrageprocedures. Het strategisch belang voor de cliënt verliezen onze advocaten daarbij nooit uit het oog.
Complexe fusies, liquidaties, collectieve waardeoverdrachten, buyouts en portefeuilleoverdrachten binnen de pensioensector vereisen een diepgaand begrip van de sector en een grondige kennis van de juridische aspecten van herstructureringen, pensioenrecht, collectief arbeidsrecht en financieel recht. Wij begeleiden cliënten bij deze complexe transacties.

    Houthoff advised Stichting Bedrijfspensioenfonds voor het Bakkersbedrijf (Bpf Bakkers), a Dutch pension fund managing assets of approximately EUR 3.5 billion, on the appointment of NN Investment Partners as their new integrated fiduciary asset manager. This transaction involved the preparation and negotiations of a fiduciary management agreement under Dutch law based on Bpf Bakker's own template.
